The Sky Pencil holly is a Unique, easy to maintain column shaped plant that can grow up to 3ft wide and 10ft tall when fully mature. This Japanese holly can be planted in USDA zones 6-9, making this a popular plant more in the southern states. This shrub can be used either as a Privacy Fence, or as an accent piece that stretches up instead of out. The scientific name of this evergreen shrub is Ilex crenata ‘Sky Pencil’.
