WARNING: Never use gasoline or kerosene to start a fire.
 

• Arrange charcoal briquets in a symmetric pile in center of grill

   

• Apply 1.6 ounces of fluid per pound of charcoal (approx 15 briquets) uniformly to the pile. Close cap by pressing firmly until it locks.

   

• Light pile immediately, the starter fuel will burn off cleanly in a few minutes, leaving the charcoal fully ignited.

   

• Begin cooking when the charcoal is mostly covered with gray ash.

   

WARNING: DO NOT cover grill until flames have died down and charcoal is mostly ashed over. Accumulated fumes could flare up when cover is removed!
